
While the control remains the same as when playing as Kane, playing as Lynch offers the ability to trigger his 'psychotic' fear filter, with the exception of a couple of sequences the game will trigger this filter against the player's action (mainly during Withdrawal and Tokyo Streets), the psychotic fear vision can be activated by the player during any chapter (with the exception of Impact) by chaining three or four of Lynch's brutal kills, you know when you've executed a brutal kill when the screen 'glitches' for a second along with the sound effect of a roaring tiger, this is usually done when killing enemies with melee executions or shooting enemies in the head at close range with a shotgun.

1.6 Additional Enemies and Seperating Players. You will unlock additional quests as you progress through the story. If you leave early before someone has joined, an NPC will join you instead. You don't have to play a co-op quest with another person. If you created the room, open the menu and leave when you're ready. You can either create a room, or join someone who has already posted a room. Choose Co-Op Quests to play cooperatively with something, or Vs. Split-screen, same-console Co-Op is not available. Or, choose Local if a friend is in person who also has a Nintendo Switch and a copy of MHST.
Choose Online to connect remotely to someone. At the Quest Board, choose "Multiplayer". After collecting three eggs, confront the boss, defeat it, and loot the final nest. These quests require tickets to embark on them, but allow you to gather four eggs. At first there will be only a few quests to slay foes, but at the fourth town, you'll unlock "Expedition" quests. In Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, you'll unlock the Multiplayer tab at the Quest Board, available in every town, about halfway through the quests in Alcala.
